It is crucial to have a solid understanding of poker odds. Please do not be intimated, poker odds concepts are not that difficult to grasp. The mathematical baguage required to digest odds concepts is very light. Most of what matters are just percentage or statistics that can be displayed in a HUD like poker edge.

This section contains articles about all odds and statistical aspects of texas holdem. For now there are two articles related to poker odds, but we are working on adding more. Our goal is to make this section a reference for poker odds material.

Poker odds is really the cornerstone of the game of poker. Most of the poker software tools that advanced players regularly use are based on some statistical evalation, like calculatem which is an odds calculator. This is what hand histories are used for.
